I have to laugh… like many philosophers he couldnt practice what he preached- and was an absolute bastard in his personal life. My favorite story is how he divorced one of his many wives due to the fact that she couldnt cut his meat into perfect square cubes (it was apparently lost on him that its impossible to say how the cubes would shrink when cooked ) there are more stories but… all anyone really hears are the quotes…
