Ah, yes. The ignorant savage prehistoric story teller model of humanity’s ethical evolution. I’m kind of surprised it hasn’t mutated into the prehistoric man’s plainer model of ethical evolution under modern feminist thought, but eh? What’s in a name?

Religion persists on the fact that it provides to humanity something science cannot, specifically and to wit a vocabulary and framework of ethical judgment parameters anchored in a perspective beyond the mortal and therefore outside the social realms where are found the errors of circular reasoning that allow dystopian evil to become an acceptable thing.

Is this a perfect system? Of course not. But it is great deal better than having nothing at all to break the corrupted feed back loops of social group think (which includes the errors made by those who believe in science without understanding it ) that allow the dystopian to become accepted norms.

A very deep subject for debate. I’ll buy the first round and argue this one all night.

Watchman, what of the night?
