only partially correct- and no climate change isnt the issue. As the article clearly states we need to enforce sanitation codes… but then there’s the double whammy of dog and cat droppings which rats love to eat!! Combined with record numbers of vacant properties…which they also love. Massive immigration for the third world has given us a sizable population that simply doesnt engage in sanitation and will overcrowd buildings… both of which drive rat population growth… in Baltimore the latino community remains noncompliant in these measures despite spanish language flyers and community education… this isnt to say theyre solely responsible but as was pointed out by a local politician- their neighborhoods have the highest infestation rate by a large margin…
