OK, so the CNF (corporate Neo fascist) are not happy with P.DT having the US treat the world the way the world has been treating the US. This is supposed to be a surprise?
The bottom line, never mentioned of course, has to do with the fact that in any fair and just economy of any size shape or structure the productive hours of one man’s life must be of the same effective value as an hour of another man’s life given that the two men are involved in the same kind of work. If this is not the case then someone, somewhere, is playing God defining the difference between the value of the two mens lives to the profit of some exploiting third man. The CNF are very much a third man force. Odd bedfellows that they would be this thought is where Karl Marx and Ayn Rand might actually agree.
Long and short of it? Set the tariffs according to the difference in worker’s wages and break the profit motive to export jobs as a political bribe exploiting the workers on both sides of the equation! With that one factor held egalitarian constant the market dynamics will bring things level in fairly short order. And not only that? For a little while we should get to enjoy watching the CNF restore the depression era sport of high window pavement diving. Just a minor perk.
