Cynic that I am it is so tempting to say “here we go again, another incursion raid by empire academia into the American family, they must have taken casualties to the Trump campaign and be needing more fauxLiberals to restore the ranks.” Demanding empire influence into parenting was how they got the fauxLiberal started in the first place. BUT… that is heavy cynicism, kind of hard on heart and soul, and so I’ll just say “sure, of course, absolutely, anything you say dear, etc et al,” and keep one hand near but not on the weapons to give them a fair chance to prove benign intent.
