In an article talking about Religion the author asks “Incidentally, if you’re wondering why I’m an Atheist today…”
Allow me to point out that the author, Ms. Stroop, knowingly or not just demonstrated the ignorance which is now and always has been the driving force behind her complaint… people who DO NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE between membership in a RELIGION (an organization created by and structured for the benefit of mortal ambitions and/or insecurities) and the act of FAITH which is a belief in a, any, Deity having some interest in the state and fate of the human race’s attempt to mature before it self destructs.
This is a very common problem on both the LibTard and the ConTard tails of the bell curve (although obviously manifesting as diametric opposites in the political arena). When folks don’t know the difference between GOD and CHURCH is when the DEVIL yawns, and tells his crew “up and at ’em… time to go to work.”
