Ha. Not any noticable difference. I have a brother that is built like a prize fighter and has a hot temper. I have seen his fists coming towards my bearded face upon occasion when we were young. My beard most assuredly did not soften the blows! Now, having an angry woman yank on your beard, is another story. Ouch!
