Ah, yes. The human herd. It is a transparent strangeness that anytime that herd gets mentioned there is never any mention of whence come the cowboys, the drovers, who wrangle that herd and push it here to there. I’ve also heard of the ovine influences that create the Sheople subset of humanity, they who move in flocks rather than herds. Those are even more annoying, but easier to understand: Christendom has for many centuries used the example of a good shepherd in their teachings. And… then there are the rabbits, but rabbits have holes and if you follow their holes far enough down you end up… gasp… a conspiracy theorist who can’t prove what was seen… anyway.

Keep movin’ movin movin’… though they’re all bo-hooin… keep them Llama’s movin’… Rawhide! Don’t try to understand ’em… just goad and probe and band ’em…soon they’ll be bunkin’ side by side… (with a tip o’ the cap to whoever wrote the original song so easy to parady for social sarcasm and to Clint Eastwood and crew for making it one of the classic TV westerns to be remembered and, well, yea. All that jazz)

Watchman, what of the night?
