Fantastic photos. Great someone is documenting the old relics. Thousands of them after the Great Depression and WW II. I can remember homesteads where people walked away and still had furniture and calendar on wall.
Many a time I would stand in silence and feel the echos of lives lived there. Many were very remote and probably quite lonely. Always had a lilac bush to show a woman had lived there. Many burned or snow caved them in. Looted by “antique” dealers after the 1960’s. Many all gone except for the tombstone marker of a lilac bush.
