I don’t think she did pop music any favors. I find her songs too accusative in general and her fans’ devotion annoying. Her primary audience is still teeny boppers who love the limited range she sings in. She does write most if not all her own songs. I do credit her as being a force from a music business standpoint, but all the poor me, my catalog got stolen was not accurate. Her dad sold it ! Time for her to settle down, have a couple of kids and get on with life.
