TheAtlantic should not give up its’ day job as dystopian social salesmen since they really can’t cut the mustard as Social Comedians. George Carlin blows them into the weeds without even trying. Defeated? America was not and is not defeated (much as they might wish it was). As a matter of fact, the fight is just getting good started which is probably why they’re trying the utterly absurd tactic of telling a veteran and determined foe he’s already been whupped when he’s just made up his mind it’s time to take the gloves off. Funny funny pitiful funny. Oh, well. Everyone has to pay their rent, and that’s what this article is all about.
