Israeli military releases unseen footage of Hamas 7 October attack

The Israeli military has released unseen footage of Hamas’ 7 October attack on Israel that ignited the war in Gaza. The previously unreleased material includes footage of an Israeli civilian bandaging a soldier and a militant shooting at what the army says is an IDF drone at Kibbutz Re’im, an Israeli community bordering the Gaza Strip. Hamas’ cross-border attack on 7 October 2023 killed 1,200 Israelis and took 250 others hostage. These videos were provided by the Israeli army. The Independent cannot independently verify the dates, locations or conditions under which they were filmed.
