Noam no doubt did a fine job of chronicaling the victor’s paranoia that afflicted both the post WW2 United States and Soviet Union. Which means he equally did a fine job of defining the forces that gave rise to the inevitable resistance movements to such imperialistic ambitions, the movements that in the last quarter of the 20th century condensed and coalesced into the CNF, the corporate neo-fascist who operate on a global scale, they who have effectively used covert cultural warfare to demote the nations into second string political entities. Perhaps someday another author will use his work as a foundation to do an equally good job of defining the rise of the CNF, and the consequences for humanity of allowing globalization a place at the dinner table as it were.

Watchman, what of the night?
