“During the isolation of the pandemic, I had the opportunity to revisit my archive of negatives and contact sheets from the 1980s, and discovered a number of interesting images taken that I had never printed,” says Sage Sohier. “A lot of time has passed since these wanderings, and though much is still vivid in my mind, I wish I had kept a journal about the people I met, the conversations I had, and the strange and wonderful things that I noticed along the way.”
