    The fellow here says he doesn’t know. I’ll claim half a clue, but that’s all I’ll claim, and that half a clue passes through some theories that do hold fairly well internally have yet to be tested against the big picture. The essence has to do with how people derive their vocabulary of self definition, the parts and pieces that they use to say “this is me.” It has to do with the concept of “internal authority of self”, in other words, their confidence in their own ethics resulting in the authority needed to pick those parts and peices for themselves and thereby have a genuine self of their own creation. And most of all, it has to do with how both of the above mentioned functions of life have been twisted and deformed and perverted to suit what resolve as narrow spectrum political ambitions which cannot be contained to a narrow range or focus, changed for one element of life changed for all elements of life. What we’re looking at is the backlash of Psychology’s first attempts to actual do the same job that Religion once held.
