    @James Randi_

    James, IF you do not believe God exists THEN it is irrational to accuse an entity which does not exist of base and ignoble actions, particularly when the validity of such an accusation is totally dependent upon the unproven, egotistical and arrogant assumption that such an entity would have any interest in intervening in the affairs of men.

    Such accusations are totally well founded if directed at the obviously human political institutions known as RELIGION. But to equate Religion and God is to mix your metaphors between the political and the philosophical… both of which are innate modes of thought within the human being whether they are called by those names or not.

    Or… to put it in the barroom version? IF Jehovah wanted to sue Christianity for slander and defamation of character he’d have an open and shut case. We all know where he could go to find a lawyer, but where could HE find a fair and just court to hear his case? Ask Apollo to sit the bench?

Watchman, what of the night?
