IF you are convinced that society has the ability to succesfully contadict some X(million years of evolution) to reshape the common reality perceived by all
AND spoken language is a core ability of the human allowing the formation of societies in the first place
THEN and only then do the “language wars” pass out of the idiotic to become worthy of serious consideration.

Otherwise the entire subject lands solidly in the affliction the psychologists refer to as “magical thinking,” one element of which is the very mistaken notion that you can change reality simply by changing the words you use to describe the reality you experience, usually accompanied by a delusional refusal to perceive any element of reality outside the range and domain of the afflicted person’s emotionally dictated vocabulary.

This one is a solid case of combat between social elements, collective entities, and one side is attempting to weaponize mental illness to their cause.

Watchman, what of the night?
