Hmmmm… once upon a time their was a genre of magazines published, the “True Confessions” ilk of transgresive titilation, that would have made a fine home for articles of this sort. The beautiful thing is that it wouldn’t matter which side you were on, the transgressions assigned to both sides by both content and implication are of such scope and magnitude that pretty much anyone with the tiniest streak of sadistic voyeurism could get a kick out of reading about some hard justice going into the history books.
And anyway, when Trump and company are serious about hurting higher education they’ll tax the entire organization, trust funds and all, at the same percentages paid by a working class man whose hourly wage is equal to what the institution charges per semester credit hour… when that man is laboring forty, fifty hours a week to feed a family.
