Hmmmm… I’d say mature fourth generation feminist thought if anyone were to ask, and a good read worth more than a casual thought.
I would also say that nature plays deep in this scenario. We men are configured/evolved to deal with a hostile wilderness to provide such security and sustenance for the women and children as we can. When the wilderness is tamed, as it now is on Planet Earth, the majority of our evolved function is no longer a valid concern, sustenance is a social factor rather than a supply issue. Of the evolved functions only security (against others of our own kind competing for limited resources) remains a valid concern, and that only in inverse proportion to the innate civility of the culture/society in focus. Given these facts the situation that presents should be no surprise. Society is a slut, amoral pragmatic and usually quite mercenary on her own behalf. She’ll invent what is needed to meet the current need be that need understood, or not.
Yes, even to the point of splitting politics neatly down the middle so both us and them are within our own borders so the spin doctors and propaganda masters can pit an attack dog against a con artist for the highest office in the land to waste off excess energy. Necessity is not only the mother of invention, she’s a stone cold *itch as well.
Mars. The boys desperately need a new wilderness. Mars should work until a a working FTL drive is on the books.

Modern feminism tells women that true feminism involves women doing what works for us. If you want to wear lipstick and high heels, that’s feminist. If you want to own a Barbie that says “Math is hard!”, that’s feminist. If you want to teach your son to play catch, that’s feminist too. Virtually everything about gender is 100% cultural. Pink was a boy’s colour until about 100 years ago when it became a girl’s colour – and in the UK, which has a tradition of wearing pink when you go hunting, men still wear a lot of pink because culture can be very regional. It was fine for men to have long hair until WWI. Etc.
Men need to be told, if you want to wear high heels and lipstick, that’s true masculinity. If you want to own a Barbie that says “Math is hard!”, that’s true masculinity. If you want to teach your daughter to sew, that’s true masculinity. If you want to be a dick, guess what, so do true feminists! True feminists ALSO want wilderness! Because GENDER IS MADE UP and so is nearly everything you said.
Science can identify autism with MRI, but NOT gender or even sexual orientation. There are ways in which men are different from women, scientifically… but it is OVERWHELMINGLY to the detriment of women and I don’t have time to debunk your foolish, poisonous and deeply depressing idea that women are flourishing. Women’s anatomy isn’t even correctly represented in medical texts at Harvard.
