In town for the ‘JJ-Street Baltic Session: Street Art Jam 2016’, Portuguese street artist Bordalo II created a large flying squirrel which is sitting peacefully on a pine branch and having a little snack. The Lisbon-based artist chose this creature in order to bring attention to the fact that in Estonia, this squirrel is an endangered species. The 8 meter high piece has already gained positive recognition from the Estonian Ministry of Environment, so we’ll hope it will help the squirrels!
