Imagine living above New York City – so far above it that you could see for miles and actually witness the curvature of the Earth. Well that’s what one lucky New Yorker can do if they want to purchase one of the city’s most exclusive listings ever

The Penthouse at Midtown’s coveted Central Park Tower has just been revealed, atop the world’s tallest residential building. This unbelievable new apartment boasts plenty of superlatives: it’s the largest condo for sale now in NYC at $250,000,000, the largest apartment available on Billionaires Row, and the largest residence in Central Park Tower, spanning 17,545 square feet of interior living space.

It also contains the highest private ballroom in the world, the highest private terrace in the world that is 1,433 square feet of outdoor space itself, and holds the title of the highest residence in the world. That’s right, not just NYC, the entire WORLD.

We got a first look to see how it checks out in person, and it utterly amazed us to say the very least…

This stunning Penthouse spans three floors, from the 129th to the 131st, rising 1,416 feet above the ground.

We personally couldn’t believe the outdoor terrace – it was basically like having your own private observation deck in the middle of NYC! The views were just out-of-this-world, allowing you to see every bit of the city. It was also so quiet since you were so high up – with no taxi honks or construction noise to worry about.

From the 131st floor you can even witness the curvature of the Earth (really!) and with 27-foot ceiling heights and walls made of glass, you can constantly take in the 360-degree views of Central Park, the Hudson and East Rivers and the iconic Manhattan skyline.

Made up of seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and three powder rooms, there are multiple entertaining spaces plus two kitchens (one is a professional catering kitchen for events, while the other is a private family home kitchen). And it’s all connected by an absolutely stunning grand spiral staircase, with views just as dazzling by sunset or sunrise.

The exquisite space is being listed by SERHANT., by brokers Ryan Serhant and Loy Carlos.

“This is wow all over — from the private ballroom, to the grand salon that’s beneath us, to the primary suite that takes up almost the entire floor, to the architectural staircase that rises 50 feet, to the interior elevator,” Serhant told us while at the space. “I mean these views of the Park, the fact that everything else is so small beneath us…there are so many things about this space that make it special.”

The enviable apartment’s home, Central Park Tower, is a true feat of modern engineering standing at 1,550 feet tall, boasting resort-style living, architectural innovation and incomparable interior design. On its 100th floor sits the Central Park Club, with a grand ballroom with seating for more than 130 people, private bar and restaurant with seasonal menus from Michelin star chefs, and a wine and cigar lounge.
