Some things are made to be shared with family members, for example DNA, a childhood home, and, begrudgingly, the TV remote. Other things, like husbands, are not.

That doesn't bother TikToker Madi Brooks, though, who has opened up to her followers about willingly sharing her husband with not only her mum, but also her sister.

Brooks appears to have deleted her TikTok account since initially opening up about her open relationship, but in the video which has been shared by other TikTokers she can be heard explaining that she can use it to her advantage when she's 'not in the mood'.

She explains: "Me and my mum are both swingers and it's great. You know why? Whenever I'm not in the mood, I can just let my husband have her. Yeah I'm that kind of wife. I let my husband have her a couple of times a week."

Brooks, her husband and her mother are all in an open relationship, and Brooks has further revealed that even her younger sister apparently gets in on the action every now and again.

"You wanna know how I keep my man happy? I let him play with my little sister," she said.

Some people have questioned where Brooks goes when her husband's the one who's 'not in the mood', noting that everyone else involved in the relationship is related to her, while others claimed the story of her relationship was enough to turn them off TikTok for a while.

It's unclear why Brooks' account appears to have been removed after she spoke out about her open relationship, but some TikTok users have stepped up to show support for the way she and her family choose to engage with one another.

One supportive person commented: "I don't understand the fuss. if you have 4 consenting adults, who's to judge. live your own life."

A poll conducted last year by YouGov revealed that about a quarter of Americans have said they would be interested in having an open relationship, including 30 percent of husbands who expressed interest along with 21 percent of wives.

Another wrote: "I get way to [sic] jealous to be a swinger with a family member but you do you boo."

A woman fell in love with a topless waiter she hired for her divorce party, and if that's not closure, we're not sure what is...

Not all heroes wear capes; some wear a bow tie and not much else, which was the case for Gabriella Landolfi, who was swept off her feet by a topless waiter she'd hired.

The romance started in March 2019, when Gabriella, 29, decided to have a party to celebrate her divorce.

We mean, if the Queen gets two birthdays, why not, aye?

So, her divorce was final and Gabriella wanted to have some fun with friends, which obviously meant hiring a bunch of topless waiters and getting off her face.

But, the real shock came the next morning, when Gabriella didn't just wake up with a hangover, but a text from John Landolfi, one of the waiters.

The astute among you will notice that they have the same last name, so you can probably work out where this is going.

John texted Gabriella to check she was alright and the relationship developed from there, with the Aussie humanities teacher saying: "I never expected to get into a relationship with the topless waiter I hired for my divorce party - let alone marry him.

"But when I got to know him, I could see what an amazing guy he was.

"It was quite the whirlwind and I’m so glad I hired him.

"At first I thought he was too into his looks, but I couldn't have been more wrong," never judge a book by its cover, right?

Ecstatic about how things turned out, Gabriella added: "Now I have the most beautiful family."

"I was just looking for a friendship and I never expected to find my wife.

"I was doing my job and I never thought this would happen."

All in a day's work, we guess.

John has a daughter from a previous relationship and was thrilled when Gabriella fell pregnant in August 2020, particularly because Gabriella has PCOS, a condition that can impact fertility.

Unfortunately, Gabriella suffered a miscarriage in November 2020, two weeks before she married John.

It was a 'really hard' time for the couple but they managed to pull through, and after getting married they welcomed a baby boy, Matteo, in July 2021.

Yep, the story was part of TLC's show I Love A Muma's Boy, which given the name probably shouldn't be a surprise.

It all started when Tracy (30) met Brian (29) in college - he was a basketball player, she was a cheerleader, and while this sounds like the start of a Blink 182 song, it's not.

Still, the pair hit it off, and while Tracy was scared to tell Brian about the son she'd had in high school, Brian embraced them both with open arms, saying: "Being the son of a single mother, it gave me more of a higher level of respect for Tracy."

Sweet right? Well, this is where the story gets a little more tricky.

You see, the couple has been together ten years, they had another son in that time and are finally getting married.

There's just one catch, as Tracy explains: "Brian is a bit of a package deal."

Eventually, Tracy and Brian's big day rolled around and things were going well, the couple seemed happier than ever, and couldn't wait to jet off to Hawaii.

That is until Brian told Tracy's best friend, Asia, that he was inviting his mum. Yep, inviting his mum on their honeymoon.

Naturally, the bestie rushed to tell the bride and, as you can imagine, it didn't go down well.

"Asia comes and like drops this bomb on me that Jayne is coming on this honeymoon - like what the f***."

What the f***, indeed," Tracy explained.

Tracy continued to explain that she'd already had to make accommodations for his mum on her wedding day: "This is unbelievable, first I have to share my wedding day, now I have to share my honeymoon. A part of me is afraid that I will be fighting for Brain's attention for the rest of my life and sharing huge moments with his mum. Brian just needs to suck it up and tell her that she's not coming."

In the end, Jayne did in fact end up coming on the honeymoon. Yikes.

Although her official role was bumped down to babysitting duties, while the newlyweds had some well-earned alone time.

That is until Jayne discovered that the penthouse at the hotel had a babysitting service, so she dumped the kids there and headed down to the jacuzzi, interrupting Tracy and Brian.

Sparking Tracy to say: "Is Jayne serious right now? Because this is like, really raggedy what she's doing — just showing up here and getting some random babysitter with the kids."

It's safe to say the couple didn't quite get the honeymoon they expected, but it seems like Jayne had a great time.

An influencer who traded in her husband to marry her step-son has revealed they are expecting a child together.

Marina Balmasheva, 37, has 20-month-old Olga with Vladimir 'Vova' Shavyrin, her 23-year-old stepson.

Marina, a popular weight loss influencer in Russia, left Vova's father Alexy Shavyrin after falling pregnant to her step-son while the two were having an affair behind Alexy's back.

“[We] are accepting your hearts and sincere wishes,” she wrote on her social media post confirming the new pregnancy to her 618,000 followers.

In a seperate post, she revealed that, 'according to ultrasound, the date of conception is the day of [her and Vova's] wedding'.

The 37-year-old is extremely candid about her marriage and its somewhat unorthodox beginning, revealing to her followers how she fell in love with Vova in a detailed post in Russian.

Alexey, her ex-husband, has been left to raise the five children they adopted together and is rather bitter about the whole ordeal.

"She seduced my son… he had not had a girlfriend before her," Alexey said, as per The Mirror.

"They were not shy to have sex while I was at home. I would have forgiven her cheating, if it wasn't my son…She was running to my son's bed from our bedroom when I was sleeping."

The 45-year-old added: "After that she was coming back and lying in bed with me as if nothing had happened."

Despite her ex-husband turned father-in-law's opinions on her new relationship, Marina remains open and honest with her followers, telling her fans recently that Vova has 'the most charming blue-eyes in the world'.

After she revealed her relationship with her step-son, who is 14 years her junior, Marina also explained that many women urge her to doll herself up more in order to keep her young husband.

"He fell in love with me with all my scars from plastic surgeries, cellulite, excessive skin and personality," she said in a social media post.

The most important thing is that she is now happy in her new partnership, describing her marriage to Alexey as 'not living but pretending'.

"Did I have regrets that I destroyed the family? Both yes and no," she told her social media followers.

She then did admit that she 'was ashamed that [she] killed the stability of 'mum and dad'.

Woman Whose Sister Was Dying Shares Her Bosses' Reactions To Her Having To Miss Work

A woman whose sister was dying has compared two very different responses her bosses gave after telling them she needed to miss work to see her sibling. Watch below:

Film industry makeup artist Hillary Zinks also had a side job as a waitress at a local resort, yet one of her supervisors issued a very negative response when she asked for some time off to visit her dying sister.

Hillary told BuzzFeed that, while she was on set last month, she got a call that her sister had been declared brain dead.

When she informed her film studio boss about the horrific news, she was treated with complete empathy.

However, when her other boss received the message from Hillary that she was unable to do her shift, the response was quite the opposite.

In a text message, the employer wrote: "I do understand and I am sorry for what you are experiencing.

"I'm curious why you are letting me know 2 hours prior to your shift."

As you can imagine, the last comment was very much, out of order, and the waitress couldn't believe what she read.

Hillary explained: "I was angry and upset about it the rest of the drive.

"The closer I got to the hospital, the more I realised how her behaviour was absolutely unacceptable and I couldn't work under her any longer."

After she got to the hospital, she quit.

Hillary then took to TikTok to go into more detail.

She added: "We don't need to work for people who barely see us as humans with emotions and families.

"I hope that anyone who has that type of experience has the means and courage to quit.

"I hope any managers that would have done something similar would now take a step back and learn from her mistakes."

Her videos went completely viral and racked up millions of views.

The comments section, perhaps even more surprisingly, was full of people with similar stories.

One wrote: "My job fired me for going to the er on my lunch break cause I was having a mini heart attack."

Another commented: "'I don't care if your grandmother died. People die all the time. It's no excuse to be late'.

"What my ex boss said to one of my coworkers."
