Summer is a time when many of us like to relax; when we tend to be a bit more carefree. Kids are off from school, enjoying summer vacation and parents often take time off from their hectic work schedules to spend time with their families. The summer months of June, July, and August were once synonymous with a slower, more relaxed way of life.
The 1950s captures this lifestyle perfectly. For the children of the era, summer was the perfect time to explore the great outdoors and to enjoy the simple carefree pleasures of childhood.
