There is a unique story behind each Wind Phone that is best told by its creator and/or steward. No one can tell it the way they can, so to that end, the format for Featured Wind Phone stories is to share the creator/steward's responses to the interview questions verbatim in their voice. Sharing our stories helps us to connect and heal and may inspire someone else to create or visit a Wind Phone.

Is your Wind Phone dedicated to or in memory of someone special?
Our Wind Phone is not dedicated to a specific person, but to all that we have lost. It offers a sacred space for reflection, remembrance, and the conversations that never had the chance to happen.
Do you have any advice for someone thinking of creating a Wind Phone?
Definitely check out eBay and Etsy for a cool vintage phone! More importantly though, just do it! The impact on our community has been so overwhelmingly positive.
Is there anything more you'd like to share?
Though the phone itself isn’t connected to any line, it offers something far more powerful: a place to speak freely to those we’ve lost. To share a story, whisper a thank you, or simply feel close again. It provides a moment of connection for anyone carrying love that has outlasted loss.
I'd love to feature your phone! You can find all the information here to submit your Wind Phone.
