Raskin Says Trump's Name Appears in the Unredacted Epstein Files Over One Million Times: Report

Members of the House now have access to the redacted names in the files

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) told Axios in an interview Tuesday that after a search he found that Donald Trump's name comes up "more than a million times" in the unredacted Jeffrey Epstein files. Members of the House Oversight Committee were given access to the unredacted files this week.

At least one of the unredacted Trump files already contradicts a statement Trump has previously made, according to Raskin, that Trump had banished Epstein from Mar-a-Lago.

According to Raskin, the document was a 2009 email exchange between Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, in which Trump is paraphrased as saying "No, Jeffrey Epstein was not a member of Mar-a-Lago, but he was a guest at Mar-a-Lago, and no, we never asked him to leave."

Trump is already named roughly 38,000 times in the files that have been released as required by a bipartisan law authored by Reps. Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna. Three million additional files have not yet been released by the Department of Justice.
