Epstein Files: Shocking 2009 footage shows Jeffrey’s butler trying to sell ‘black book’ of victims to FBI; Was

A newly surfaced video tied to the long-running Jeffrey Epstein scandal is reigniting questions that refuse to fade away. The footage reportedly shows Epstein’s former butler attempting to sell a mysterious “black book” containing alleged contacts and details linked to the disgraced financier, an encounter that took place nearly two decades ago.

The video features Alfredo Rodriguez, who worked as Epstein’s butler and house manager at his Palm Beach residence. The footage emerged after the US Justice Department released the final tranche of documents connected to Epstein, the convicted child sex offender whose network of associates has long been the subject of global scrutiny.

In the recording, Rodriguez is seen during an undercover FBI operation discussing a small black book he claimed contained addresses and phone numbers connected to Epstein’s circle. He suggested the book included names of influential individuals as well as people linked to the case. “You will see a lot of important people here,” Rodriguez says in the footage.

According to reports, the meeting took place two years after investigators had already asked Rodriguez to hand over any Epstein-related documents. Instead of immediately turning it in, he allegedly tried to sell the diary for $50,000. Rodriguez also made explosive claims about Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is now serving time in prison for her role in the trafficking scheme.

He told the undercover agent that Maxwell maintained a database of girls and suggested that it included explicit images. “The teenagers, they had braces,” he said, though no evidence was provided to support the existence of such a database. Authorities later arrested Rodriguez for failing to surrender the book as evidence. He reportedly described the document as his “insurance policy,” claiming he feared Epstein might make him “disappear.” Eventually, Rodriguez pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice and served 18 months in prison.

Rodriguez died in 2014 from mesothelioma, a cancer commonly linked to asbestos exposure. His death was ruled natural. Despite the passage of time, the resurfaced footage has sparked intense online reactions. Many social media users argue that the video suggests authorities possessed critical information about Epstein’s network as early as 2009 but failed to act decisively.

One viral post claimed: “FBI knew the entire pedo network in 2009 and buried it to protect the demons.” Another questioned the lack of action: “In 2009, Jeffrey Epstein’s butler was caught in an FBI sting trying to sell the client & victim list… And nothing happened. Why?”

He laid out the entire operation.

And nothing happened.

Per Epstein’s butler Alfredo Rodriquez, Epstein had a close call ~2005–06 with CSAM on his computers.

An incompetent FBI investigation gave him time to erase evidence.

Epstein may have been more careful after incarceration. Or not. FBI has the drives. https://t.co/TQMzDTq1nX pic.twitter.com/khK2gHMrO1 — Echosphere (@hash_tigre) February 17, 2026

>get caught by FBI
>sent to jail for longer than Epstein
>all this happened 17 years ago
>could've cracked the case wide open then

⚡ IN 2009, ONE MAN TRIED TO EXPOSE EVERYTHING.

His name was Alfredo Rodriguez.

He was Jeffrey Epstein's personal butler.

He had the black book — every name, every phone number, every address of every person who visited Epstein's properties.

He knew what happened behind those… pic.twitter.com/JMun5lAf5O — Lissa4Maga aka Cowboy Killa 🐎 (@Lissa4Maga) February 16, 2026

Undercover FBI arrested Epstein's butler in a sting Op for trying to sell Epstein's little black book for a lousy $50K. But they never arrested anyone in the black book. That's all you need to know about the FBI. — Thomas Paine (@Thomas1774Paine) February 16, 2026
