Jung said that, “Loneliness does not come from having no people about one,
but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to
oneself, or from holding certain views which others find inadmissible.”

American’s have simply gotten to the point that no one elses view is
admissible. They are too used to shouting down people on social media.
    It’s poisoned us. MAGA/Liberal. Red/Blue, Rich/Everybody else. For seven
decades I talked to people of all walks, all classes, all colors. You can’t do
that anymore. I told a MAGA guy he had nice shoes at the grocery store
the other day and he just stared at me and walked off. I tried!

Common decency is DEAD in the masses. Look at the way the POTUS
talks to women, reporters, our allies. My granddaughter who was raised in
a MAGA household, told me that. “what she does is none of my buisness”
when I asked her about how things were going! I would have never
imagined talking to a grandparent that way. America is broken, and I’m
gunshy about trying to talk to ANYONE these days. Jesus Christ, what
happened to America? The ONLY people who want to talk to me, are people
trying to sell me something, peddle their religion, or get some money.
Me and the cat have stimulating coversations even though they are mostly
one-sided, besides the occasional ‘meow’. But at least it is a civil meow.
