Ha. Hollywood has ALWAYS revised history. The Old West is a prime example. Forty years ago I was having a book published about a famous cowboy artist. I went to Los Angeles to meet the feminist editor that was put in charge. Her very first words to me were, “Cowboys offend me.” It went downhill from
there and ended up with me in litigation with a slew of “Avenue of the Stars” lawyers. In the end, I won the battle, but lost the war. They were barred from gutting the historical facts, but the book was not published either. I could have made some money and hobnobbed with the swells, but here I am out here in the brush with a beautiful factual story untold because those with the money wanted to put a woke sissy spin to the reality that was. Ha!
